Posters will be displayed in the Exhibition Hall at the duration of the Conference. Please read through the information below carefully and ensure you complete all tasks by the allocated deadline.

Poster Numbers

Poster numbers have been allocated and your poster must be pinned to the appropriate poster board. This information was emailed to all authors on Monday 18 July 2022.

Hard Copy Posters

Posters are to be in-place by 10.00 am on Wednesday 14 September 2022 and will be displayed for the duration of the conference in the Exhibition Hall 1 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney, NSW.

Hard copy posters should be printed in “AO Portrait” (1,189mm high x 841mm wide). Presenters are required to bring their own hook-and-loop velcro for attachment to the board (double sided tape or blu tac are not suitable).

Posters can be viewed by delegates at all session breaks. 

We are encouraging poster viewing to be during the lunch breaks and we recommend that you stand by your poster on Thursday 15 September for the first half of lunch to engage with the delegates and discuss your poster.  

Posters must be removed by 3.40 pm on Friday 16 September. Any posters not removed by 4.00pm will be disposed by the exhibition build company.

Poster Format

Most conferences use the same, old, wall-of-text poster design. We know, we’ve been doing it too! This year, Wounds Australia wants to try to improve the efficiency of the transfer of knowledge at their Conference, by encouraging authors to use the #betterposter format. Traditional, wall-of-text posters make delegates search for the main finding. Colours haven’t been allocated to a certain abstract type or theme QR Codes: If you choose to include one on your poster, a unique code can be made here

Poster Prize

Wounds Australia will offer a prize of the Best Poster. The winner will be announced on the last day of the Conference, on Friday 16 September 2022. Please note, only posters placed on the boards will be judged and considered for the prize.

Registration

All presenters must register by the early bird registration deadline of Friday 29 July 2022 for their presentation to be included in the program.
