Workshop Registration Fees

The post conference workshops are an opportunity for hands-on, practical professional learning.

NOTE: Workshops presented by sponsors are at no cost to attendees. Please see program information for which workshops are being run by sponsors. Workshop supported by sponsors are charged as per other workshops. Please see the registration form for more information.

Social Function Fees

Welcome Reception
The Welcome Reception is included in all full registration categories. If you wish to puchase additional tickets for the welcome recepiton they are available at a cost of $55.00 per person and can be purhcased during the registration process.

Gala Dinner 
Gala Dinner Ticket - A$130.00
The Gala Dinner is not included in registration fees. Tickets are availbale during the registration process.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By registering for the Wounds Australia 2022 Conference: Time to HEAL | Time to UNITE | Time to INNOVATE (the event), delegates and attendees agree to abide by all terms and conditions. By registering, you are committing to the purchase and payment of registration to the event.

Animals
No animals are permitted on site with the exception of seeing eye or companion dogs.

Behaviour
Wounds Australia reserves the right to prohibit entry of any person to the event or eject any person from the event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by Wounds Australia staff and/or its agents and others working under its authority.

Cancellations and refunds
All cancellations and changes to registrations need to be made in writing by email. If you have not received acknowledgement within two business days, please contact the Wounds Australia Conference Team on +612 9954 4400 or via email wounds2022@dcconferences.com.au. Cancellation received in writing up to 60 busines days prior to the conference, before 22 June 2022, will received a full refund less an administration fee of 10%. Cancellations received between 60 business days and 30 business days prior to the conference, 22 June - 2 August 2022, will receive a refund less a 25% administration fee. Cancellation received within 30 business days of the conference, 3 August 2022, no refund is payable.

Additional social event tickets cancelled in writing at least 14 days prior (25 August 2022) to the event will be refunded in full. Regrettably, no refunds can be given after this date, however, substitute delegates are most welcome with written notification.

All cancellations of accommodation bookings are subject to the applicable properties' terms and conditions. Please ensure you read the terms and conditions for your choice of property prior to booking.

No liability is accepted for any inaccuracy, delay, damage, death, or personal injury. The committee and organisers of the Wounds Australia 2022 Conference reserve the right to change, without notice, any aspect of the conference program. All information supersedes all previous publications.

Dress
Business attire and/or smart casual is required when attending the conference and for Welcome Event. Costumes, relevant to the theme, are encourage for the Gala Dinner.

Event Cancellation
Should circumstances beyond the control of Wounds Australia, the Organising Committee and/or the event manager arise that would normally result in the cancellation of the event, Wounds Australia will endeavour to postpone the event to a later date. In the unlikely event that cancellation becomes necessary, a full refund of the registration fee less a 10% administration charge will be given.

Force majeure
Wounds Australia and/or the Venue are not responsible for either the partial or total non-execution of the contract in the event of accident, an act caused by a third party, such as Acts of God including, without limitation, credible threats of natural disaster in the geographic vicinity of the venue, war, curtailment or interruption of transportation facilities, threats or acts of terrorism or similar acts, government travel advisory, a government elevation of the terrorism alert level, civil disturbance, the issue of a travel warning by the World Health Organisation or any other cause comparable events or disasters beyond the parties' control which prevents the venue from providing the event or if for the same reasons the event is cancelled by Wounds Australia.

Intention to photograph
Delegates and others are advised that photographs and filming will be taken during the conference and reproduced for promotional purposes.

Liability Waiver
In the event of industrial disruptions, the Conference, Venue, Committee and organisers accept no responsibility for losses incurred by conference attendees, staff and participants.

Member Registration
Wounds Australia member registration rates are not transferable to non-Wounds Australia members. By selecting a member registration rate, it is agreed that the registrant is a current financial member of Wounds Australia, and that the registration is made in the Wounds Australia member's name only. A breach of this may result in a cancellation of an event registration and/or Wounds Australia membership.

Name badges
Name badges must be worn at all times, as it is your entry to all sessions and inclusive functions.

Payment
By registering, you are committing to the purchase and payment of registration to the event. All prices are in Australia dollars and include GST. Payment must accompany your registration.

Delegates are encouraged to pay via credit card at the time of registration.

Payment can be made by credit card, personal cheque or EFT transfer in Australian Dollars only. Cheques should be made payable to the Wounds Australia 2022 Conference. Alternatively, payment may be made via MasterCard or Visa. Payment can also be made by direct transfer, please quote invoice number when transferring funds electronically.

Personal Insurance
Participants shall be regarded in every aspect as carrying their own risk for personal injury and loss or injury to property, including baggage during the conference. It is strongly recommended that individuals take out a travel insurance policy at the time of registering. Wounds Australia will be in no way responsible for any claims concerning insurance.

Privacy
By registering you agree that your name and contact information, including electronic address, may be used by parties directly related to the event such as the organisers, providers, suppliers and approved stakeholders, for relevant purposes such as promotion, networking, and administration of this, and future events of this type. In addition, your name, organisation and country/state of origin may be published on the delegate list which may be provided to delegates, exhibitors and sponsors. If you do not wish to have your details shared you will be able to opt out during the registration process on the online registration form.

Postponement
In the event that the Wounds Australia 2022 Conference is postponed, existing paid registrations will automatically be transferred to the new conference dates.

Social Functions/Alcohol
Registration as a Delegate or Sponsor or Exhibitor attendee does not automatically constitute as confirmed attendance for any social events during the course of the conference. Every attendee (even those entitled to complimentary registrations) must respond in the affirmative as attending social functions by selecting options during online registration. Places at social functions are not held if an affirmative response is not received to the attending option.

As alcohol is on offer, all social functions are classed as a licensed event. All attendees must comply with the Venue's responsible service of alcohol requirements. The Venue's alcohol beverage license requires that venue staff shall: (i) request proper identification (photo ID) of any person of questionable age and refuse alcoholic beverage service if the person is either underage or proper identification cannot be produced, and (ii) refuse alcohol service to any person who, in the Venue's judgement, appears intoxicated.

Social Media

Wounds Australia does not permit the recording of presentations and workshop at the Conference under any circumstances or in any form of media, including but not limited to audio recordings, video recordings, or literal transcripts unless you acquire written consent.

Wounds Australia permits and encourages the use of social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, Snapchat and blogging at the conference as a way to summarise, highlight, review, critique, and/or promote the presented materials, or the conference in general, on condition that: copyright law is observed, verbatim information is limited to a few quotes, and the author or speaker is referenced and cited appropriately. Please bear in mind that presenters have invested many hours in the development of materials for the Conference and copyright laws apply.

Out of respect for the other delegates, we ask that loud electronic devices be silenced, though they do not need to be switched off, so that they may be used to tweet, post of Facebook, or take notes in accordance with the above-stated policy.

Wounds Australia requests delegates refrain from:

  • Using audio and/or video recording devices during session.
  • Capturing, transmitting, or redistributing syllabus materials or the bulk of the material presented in a session. Doing so infringes on the intellectual property rights of the speakers.
  • Engaging in rudeness or personal attacks.


COVID Information

Wounds Australia Conference 2022 organisers have thought about your health and safety in attending the conference and have the following measures in place.

The event will follow the NSW health directives regarding vaccination status – that being at this time evidence of vaccinations do not need to be shown. Should this directive change, registrants will be required to adhere to the Government requirements.

If you are feeling unwell in any way or have been in contact with a positive COVID 19 case,  please don’t attend the conference. Refunds on registration will be provided with a medical certificate.

If you begin to feel unwell at the conference the registration desk will be able to advise where you can procure a RAT test. Please be aware of State requirements for reporting and isolation should your test be positive. Costs associated are not the responsibility of the association or the management organisation.

Onsite, the venue will adhere to current social distancing protocols and will provide regular cleaning and sanitising in public areas. Catering will be served in appropriate and safe manner and hand sanitisers will be placed throughout the venue. Masks are not a requirement but are encouraged as a precautionary option.

Conference organisers’ staff are fully vaccinated, will wear masks and will undergo regular RAT tests while onsite.

These protocols will undergo regular review and will be updated in line with Government recommendations
